A Great Reunion
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord,” 1 Thessalonians 4:17.
The month of May is the beginning of the family reunion season for many. It is a fun time and a sad time, a time when families get together and eat, play games and reminisce about those relatives who passed from this life. Truly, not all reunions are great. Sometimes a reunion is disrupted by rain, heat, family jealousy, envy or squabbles; however, our heavenly reunion will be perfect!
We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with our loved ones who have already entered into Heaven and the presence of Jesus. One day, all believers will be together in Heaven. It will be a sweet time of fellowship with kinfolks, brothers and sisters in Christ and, most importantly, worshiping with Jesus. In Heaven we will sing songs of worship and thankful praise to our Savior.
I am looking forward to that great reunion day. How about you?
REFLECTION: “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness” (Psalm 17:1)
