Whoot, whoot my friend. I knew you could do it. It’s always heartwarming when you see your prayers answered as requested. You know you’re on His path for you.
Congrats, Wally, proud for you. I was grandfathered in but had to take the test and boy was it a booger, think I missed 2. Best wishes for the future. I believe you will make a great nurse.
It’s great that you got the first step done. A friend’s husband went back to school. He was still in school when his daughter graduated from Physical Therapy. Keep going and I’m sure you have a lot of support. 🙂
I am learning it is not that unusual at all. I suppose in today’s shifting economy one has to be ready to change directions as needed. Or go hungry lol.
Exactly, Wally. Another friend who get laid off along with other fellows. Eventually his subordinate got a job then hired him as a subordinate!! No ego there.
I thought I was a Nursing Assistant when I brought our starving sons to my wife to feed – now that I have read you posts about your journey I think I will remove Nursing Assistant from my resume – Congratulations, your hard work is paying off!

Well Wally, another school friend’s mom went back to school to get her RN the same time my friend was in school. It’s very common.
