How God’s Truth Is Revealed

1 Corinthians 1:17-24

“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God,” 1 Corinthians 1:23, 24.

In a survey of people’s curiosity about Bible information two subjects consistently emerge: creation and Revelation. A person could study what has already happened in the beginning, what will happen in the end, but still end up in eternal damnation. The deep mysteries of the Bible are interesting, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only topic that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe. Jews had to have a miracle before they would believe. Jesus said an evil and adulterous generation seeks after miracles. The reason being, if God has to prove Himself with miracles, there is no faith in it at all.

The Gentiles had to prove with logic and scientific examination that God exists. All pure science will prove is that the Supreme Being exists. “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him” (John 14:21). Jesus asks for belief first then obedience; thereafter, He promises to manifest Himself to the believer.

Every human receives an eternal spirit at conception. That spirit will spend eternity somewhere. When a human trusts Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit guarantees his citizenship in Heaven forever, for all eternity, with Jesus the source of his eternal life.

THOUGHT: Why spend eternity under judgment when the One who guarantees life can make reservations for you? Start the New Year off right by walking in the light. Jesus is the source of all truth.
