Well, plans change. There is NO water heater guy available for at least 3 days! Um…..the ladies made it clear that this was simply NOT an acceptable solution. Water heater in. Hot water pumping. Thank goodness, as installing a water heater is dirty work. I know I NEED that hot water. Peace for the day, as I am retiring the blog for the day. I’ll probably see some of you at your places, though.

LOL!
On a side note I started to write back on your blog about helping those in need. I was going to use my past experience as an example. But as I typed it I was having hurtful feelings come back at people that the Lord has placed forgiveness on my heart so I had to just stop ❤ That was a GREAT POST, though!!

Ah….I’m sorry you had to rehash those feelings. Elizabeth. Better, as you said, to let it lie. Thanks much, Sister.

LOL! I am not either, Robert, which is why this is quite the big deal for me! I takes me 2 or 3 times as long, because first I have to learn how to do it, then back up from my mess ups!

Congrats, Wally! The last time the furnace guy visited for the yearly inspection he said our old water heater was a flooded basement waiting to happen. I hate flooded basements.

Oh yeah fix that Tom. Any idea how far 40 or 50 gallons of water will spread?

Yeah, we got a new one. I’m constantly having to battle water in the basement. When the gutters clog in the Spring and Fall with all our trees there’s always the chance of rain water coming down and into the basement windows. I’ve seen 50 gallons on the floor several times. Finally bought a shop vac.

I hope you can use your newly acquired talent when our water heater dies. It’s located in the dungeon and will cost a fortune to get it out of there. Pray that we die before it does!

Good job! Man when I had to replace my water heater a few years back I didn’t think it was a joke and I was so nervous since it was my first time! I imagine it was probably heavy with water even after draining it!
