Okay Wally, we did it again. I literally had that thought at about 2 am this morning (bad cold – can’t sleep). It hit me like a ton of bricks – do I want to be known for being the one who can find the fault and pin the blame (something at which I excel), or do I want to be known as the one who shines out the love of Christ?

That’s actually funny, as I have a horrible cold too! It’s a good question, though, isn’t it? I have actually used it with the young teens I teach….but it’s a good one with grown ups too.

I think my friends know where I stand. I may not be vocal one on one and in person, but I wont shut up on my blog. Some of them may be getting tired of my posts. but I cant help myself. I want everyone of them to join me in heaven!

You are a beacon, Wally. I’d recognize you anywhere.

Thank you my friend

now that is a pointed and powerful notion and thought….
I would hope “they” would or could say what I believe would be the truth there—but the question remains….
I’d probably get the typical “loving wife, mother, good cook…..” and whereas that is true stuff on the surface, is the Truth really evident in the living of life…..
Oh much to ponder of this one my friend….

My oh my! You know how to touch a nerve don’t you? 🙂
Great question to start out the new year. Be blessed. God is in a stunning mood.

Well, just remember, that mine got touched first. That is usually how these thoughts work. I spend all morning asking the Lord what I need to work on. When He figures it out for me, I write it down.

I agree with Michael, this is a great question to start out the year.
A good resolution would be to live in such a way that everyone sees Jesus in you every day

That’s a good rule of thumb test to see where we are at spiritually in case we self-deceive our self
