I hope as winter weather, below freezing temperatures and possible snow and ice loom in the weekend forecast that every one will remember the single most important thing they can do.
In flip flops

I hope my drool hasn’t messed up your key board. LOL That’s my absolute favorite meal – a big fat rib eye steak and a baked potato drowning in butter. You really know how to hurt a girl!!!
Ah yes that is the best.

That’s cruel, Wally. Temps up here in the Rust Belt have been in the teens or single digits for
December 30, 2017 at 21:02
It’s gonna be bad thus weekend not expected to get above freezing all weekend even in the day
December 30, 2017 at 20:26
…five straight days. LOTS of snow tonight.
How close to Buffalo are you Tom? They get creamed all the time don’t they?
December 31, 2017 at 05:49
We’re about 6o miles east of Buffalo. They take a direct hit from the winds off of Lake Erie, but we get huge lake effect snows from Lake Ontario. Along with our world famous “Garbage Plate” and some of the highest taxes in the country, Rochester has the distinction of being the “snowiest” city in the USA. Argh!

Wow. That really bites. I would be okay if I never saw snow again after 7 Wyoming winters, My wife LOVES it, and is SE AR is is quite rare. They have gone multiple years at times with none. In fact I was down here 3 or 4 years before it did.

We’ve thought about moving down South after retirement but our family is all pretty much up here.
December 30, 2017 at 21:12
That’s why we live in the South, Tom. 🙂

When my immigrant ancestors came to America, New York, the Empire State, was THE place to get good employment. Today, all the jobs have left and those who remain have tons of snow and high taxes. Can we move in with you, Sue?

I’ll be right over. It looks delicious and the fire is also inviting as we struggle here Minnesota with wind chills of -45. Pipes are frozen and dog doesn’t want to go outside😬
December 31, 2017 at 06:31
I feel it Kathy, I remember a snap like that in Wyoming when wind chills got as low as -70. It’s brutal. You be safe up there ok?
December 31, 2017 at 08:51

December 31, 2017 at 08:56

January 1, 2018 at 12:47
I wish I can fully agree but putting aside the bone chilling weather, I am still enjoying winter and all of it’s snow that comes with it.
January 1, 2018 at 13:11
