There is nothing notable about this particular tree other than it is a magnolia tree, blooming in…August. Weird really

All God’s creation “blooms when He’s ready” (to everything there is a season….it’s just not always on our time table. I have to keep reminding myself of that!!!)

When my first granddaughter was born, my son and his wife hadn’t picked out a name for her yet, even though they knew they were having a girl. On the day she was born, her grandpa noticed a single, late-blooming rose had appeared in the garden, something you don’t often see up here in late September. So they named her Autumn Rose, in honour of that rare gift ☺
