It’s why we’re in the mess we’re in – we kept silent.

Well, we certainly concur in that sentiment, Sue. Frankly, I don’t see that it has gotten much better. We are louder now I suppose, but about things that don’t mean much in an eternal sense.

That’s true, too and with all the false teaching, etc. is it any wonder?

Sadly, it is no wonder at all

I’m not sure you will like my response, but here it goes. The problem is not that the Church has kept silent. We ARE louder now and the world has taken note. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel…” Somehow, the Church has taken that to mean, “Grab your soap box and argue with anyone who disagrees with you.”
The main stream church institute of today would no more accept Jesus walking among them today than the religious of yesterday. Why? It is because He hung around the sinners. THEY LOVED HIM and invited Him into their homes. He not only taught but backed up His teaching with power. He commands the same of us. Honestly, I can’t blame the world for not wanting to be a part of the Body. We are truly a sad looking bunch.
Last night I was praying… I was confessing to the Lord that I’m not satisfied with the normal. I want to feel the wind of His Holy Spirit… to see His glory fall like a cloud… to lay my hands on the sick and watch them be healed as the power of God flows through me..to be so saturated with His Holy Spirit that I cannot keep silent but MUST proclaim His goodness. I want to know what it truly means to fear the Lord…
Sadly, if you have some “religious” readers weigh in on this comment, I wonder how many would think I’m a heretic or a kook? How many would say within themselves that I am misrepresenting the Gospel because I dare believe that God can and will move? How many of the “Religious” would cover their ears and gnash their teeth if I dared say this type thing in their presence?
No sir…The church is not silent. We are speaking loud and clear.

Every Christian only has two seasons of ministry. Yep two seasons. In season and out of season.

Too any standing around just watching the world go down hill, in my opinion.

Yeah, too many do just that
