Thanks, Lauren. It’s pretty true, though; if we are doing The Lord’s work, the devil will be all up in our faces His absence should concern us.

Not that I want to be looking for him under every rock or anything, but oh, so true. Of course, here in the US, we don’t really know what persecution is, for real. At least, most of us, that is. Even so, he still has us in his crosshairs, and is opportunistic as, (forgive me)… hell.

No forgiveness needed…that was actually quite awesome

Now those are words to ponder…

I have heard several preachers say something similar and I think it is a true thing, and should even be an encouragement to us. Rather than being upset Satan is pestering us, we should be glad as it likely means we are engaged in something he wants to put a stop to. Thanks, Don

pestering is an understatement Wally! 🙂
June 10, 2017 at 19:11
Well, I happen to have an appreciation of the power of understatement. 🙂
June 10, 2017 at 19:12
it makes a more powerful statement that way you know 🙂

I do know that. It’s one of the few literary devices I actually sort of officially know LOL.
It’s actually a favorite way of dealing in real life with the stupidest situations. At first folks sort of look confused, then suddenly it dawns on them the true magnitude of their stupidity.

A scary thought at that!
Well, yes in one way Tricia. On the other hand, if the devil is after us, we must be doing something right! I hope you have been well?
June 10, 2017 at 14:18
No I meant scary as in you could be walking along feeling all peachy keen while not realizing the devil is right beside you, leading the way.
I’ve been good, thanks for asking. Had some family visiting and work projects to deal with so not much free time unfortunately for WordPress. Hopefully I can catch up this weekend!
Things good with you?

Things never change for me Lol Tricia.

Oops hit enter too soon.
I burn the candle at both ends and the middle!

Lol, saw down Wally! 😉

Sounds like you need to take your own advice😅
June 10, 2017 at 14:44
Whoops! It’s a new term, um, yeah that’s it…

….or paddling your canoe down the same river.
June 10, 2017 at 19:10
Or that, yes!

Good one Patrick. Very “Southern-ese.”
June 12, 2017 at 13:34
That’s a good one Wally!
June 12, 2017 at 13:50
Thanks, brother Jim. I do believe that to be true. If the devil is not after us, it’s because he doesn’t need to bother.
June 12, 2017 at 13:52
I believe it is true as well Wally. A truth that is well captured in this post
