Once we were all singing together and apparently none of us knew the words because we were all singing something different, what we thought the lyrics said. It was pretty funny, all different versions “hold me,help me,heal me,” except one guy who thought it said “homey.” He was thinking “abide” in me, that kind of means “homey,” so that must be what they’re saying. We were all thinking, now why is this fool calling God His homey? 🙂

God as homey. Sheesh LOL. It’s like what I call “Jesus is my boyfriend” songs.

Let’s not go there, Wally. It took me a month to clear my head of that “God’s Not Dead” jingle.
