Wally, I love this when God tells Abram to depart. As I am a go digging for the meaning in Hebrew kinda girl, I went looking one day. It has encouraged me often when my flesh waviers on where I “should go or stay” or maybe I can get someone to go with me. In Hebrew it says, “Go for thyself”. Yep, your question stands. Do we make the decision to” go forward” or do we weaken and “take Lot”? Good post!!

That is fascinating Denise, thanks. There is a translation, and I don’t remember which one, that actually says “Go for yourself.” Now, I know why. This was our Sunday school lesson last night, and that part really struck me. God said go, and Abraham departed. We don’t see any verbage to indicate he even thought twice about it, either. Thanks much Denise

Thanks Wally! I wish I could say the same when my feet get stuck in “I want to stay home!” Lol
