Hey, I just remembered sometin Wally.
“Hey grandpa, what’s for supper?”
Ain’t that what they used to say to grandpa Jones on Hee Haw?
That’s down home niceness. 👍
That was actually semi healthy. The sauce was probably a bit fat, but mostly that was actually a heart healthy meal. Nothing even fried except the chicken and that was just a dab of olive oil. It was tasty, though.
For dinner last night I had a bowl of unbuttered, unsalted popcorn. Needless to say, my diet has hit a bit of a plateau. Please, Wally, no photos of biscuits and gravy! Please!!!
I remember my grandfather cooking of us, when we were kids. He didn’t do it often. He’d make something simple like scrambled eggs. But the dish was special because he made it.

I love cabbage! It was yummy for sure. Sadly, the casserole was not as creamy as I intended. Win some, lose some I suppose.

Well, I love to cook, and it’s a truism for cooking, especially when you are making stuff up LOL. It was quite tasty, just kind of dryish.
