Seems to me the people who most loudly proclaim they can live happily without God are the same people who are most bothered by Him. Guess living without Him doesn’t work out very well at all.

Not me fellas, most non-believers live for this world and do not have to worry about a so called everlasting life. I cannot believe adults can believe in such myths and that is why I get onto your websites, not because I am bothered by your God.

Truth be known, man can live just fine without God. It’s the dying part that gets em’.

A saying says: it’s not the fall that kills you, but the sudden stop at the bottom.
The Bible says something like this: The rain falls on the just and the unjust
Final one: yes, we can live just fine sorta say without Him, but it’s much better with Him!

Speaking from experience…It’s not the fall that hurts, but the landing.

Yes..indeed, you do know that rather intimately. How is that shoulder by the way?

Patrick, the truth is why would dying be a hang-up for anybody considering nobody has any irrefutable evidence of a heaven or a hell. Some people may tell you they have seen God and the afterlife in certain conditions however that is due to our brain power that on its own can match any hocus pokus delivered by any gods.
I and most serious atheists do not have a second thought about eternal life unless it comes in the form of a pill of course, ha,ha.
We also realise heaven and hell type places exist in most former and present religions and therefore understand it is only a man-made concept.

Do you have irrefutable evidence that is NOT and afterlife Steve?
I only ask, because you have just asserted it is a man made concept.
Ooopsy daisey that’s a positive assertion. According to you militant athesist types that places the burden of proof on you.
You have made an assertion. You stated the after life is only a made concept.
Address this with proof or don’t comment here again. Oh…you you don’t get to wave the question away like you did during our last conversation by asking me how you can answer such a stupid question.
It’s not a stupid question.
You said it, back it up with proof.
You aren’t clogging up my blog anymore with your endless non answers to direct questions that are just you preaching atheist doctrine.
Back your assertion or take a hike.

Very Interesting Wally, I was identifying that we have no refutable evidence and you have confirmed you do not have any either and my proof is just simply that fact. My understanding that the afterlife is man-made is due to the many religious after-life’s made available for us to believe in.
Oh, I clog up your blog because you do not like to read something you disagree with. I think you have very little literal adventure in you and some of your followers who also do not like any sort of debate on beliefs, whereas they are in the public domain and I find it interesting and indeed fascinating to discuss different views.
You always seek out ways to mute my comments with ridiculous proof requests without ever providing any of your own for the amazing claims you make on your own web site, and it makes me think that you are not so secure in your head as you make out.

This is easy Steve
You scream constantly that the Christian faith is delusion with no proof
Then you make broad sweeping assertions and refuse to back them up
There you call my demand for proof ridiculous and then chastise me for not providing proof for my assertions
Steve I teach the Bible. The only assertion I make is that my lessons are bible based
Do you care to dispute my exposition of the Bible? Lol I dare you.
Now back to you
You have asserted the concept of the afterlife is man made. What that means in plain English is that you assert there is no after life.

“Scream constantly”? I do not scream anything, I write quietly.
Your blog title has a man drinking what looks like a beer who likely does not have God on his mind but the enjoyment of the drink, and I can relate to that, however the wording assumes you cannot live without Gods direction and Patrick suggested non-believers would worry at the time of death about not having the benefits of Christianity and James thinks vocal non-believers will be bothered by thoughts of God and would not have a good life.
Who better than a good old honest atheist like myself to explain why you are wrong. You did not provide any proof or any explanatory facts as to why you claim this Wally, however, I do not care because I have explained to you the rational from non-believers about eternal life and how your views are quite wrong, have I not?
Regards to all.
