Yes, more or less. In AD 73 when Masada finally fell, that was the seeming end forever of the Nation of Israel. Those zealots were the last stand of defense, and the only remnant of the nation. When they died, it must have seemed like the end forever. Yet, in 1948 the Nation of Israel was born again formally.
Masada is sort of a national rally point and represents many things. I have heard it said that Masada will never fall again.
Trump, the catalyst for more religious uprisings, more hate, more deaths. Is this what Christians want today, especially when war with Kim may be a reality?
Steve. Did you see something suggesting I am a hard core Donald Trump supporter? I think you did not. I know you did not. Also, who said anything about Kim? Put your hate gun away. Whether you like it or not, Israel is a Jewish nation, and history supports that. Jerusalem has in fact been the capitol of the nation of Israel since 1948, this was merely an acknowledgement of what has been, both in modern history, and past history. Unless, of course you are in opposition to the Jewish State? But, seriously, don’t waste your breath responding, as everything you say is tempered by your hatred of all things American and Christian, and frankly I have no time to waste with you. Peace.
Wally. Did you see something suggesting I am a hard-core hater of Americans and Christians? I think you did not. I know you did not.
I did not accuse you of being a Donald Trump supporter, because you have said so in the past, I only suggested Trump was causing a whole heap of problems and did Christians need to support this.
struth, you have a vindictive mind when it comes to my comments.
Good night.
Steve. I have NEVER said I am a Donald Trump supporter. Therein lies the issue with your comments. You make stuff up. You also said, and it makes me wonder if you actually read what you write:
” I only suggested Trump was causing a whole heap of problems and did Christians need to support this.”
That fails to even make sense. Steve, I do not have a vindictive attitude towards you. I do, however call hogwash when I see it. Frankly, I don’t care if you get ticked and stay away for a while. Good night.
“I did not accuse you of being a Donald Trump supporter, because you have said so in the past,”
How did you read this to mean support for Trump? It is saying you have said you do not support Trump, so I did not accuse you. This is English, the language of your English pioneers, that you should understand by now.

Is it any wonder why the Lord wept over the city…………….
He knows all the yesterdays, todays, and tomorrows. No doubt a solemn moment there.

Is this in reference to the fact that the Jews were defeated here in history but now under Israel control nearly 200 years ago?

This was a post from our trip to Israel last year. Seems appropriate today. Praise God for His steadfastness.

Actually it always has been since 1948. He just led the U.S. in recognizing it. But it’s a great thing for sure
