Well, I am a bachelor tonight, as the rest of the family went to Little Rock to see some country singer or another at Verizon Arena. I rarely go anywhere on Saturday nights, as I have teaching responsibilities on Sundays. Tomorrow I teach morning AND night. In the morning I have the Adult I class, which I teach on a rotation with some other men, and in the evening I have my Young Teen class, which is mine every Sunday night.
So, it’s fend for myself night. When I cook for just me, odds are high it will involve something deep fried, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, and something spicy. And of course, it will always be heart healthy LOL. Tonight was no exception

Yum. When it’s just me I usually grab some takeout.

I ate lunch out, and really didn’t want to go anywhere. So, here I sit in the recliner studying and, obviously, chatting!

Cheesy fries? You’re having cheesy fries?! Oh the envy. Now I would smother that whole mess in sour cream and salsa, but that’s just me.
Hubby and I always used to go out together and share a snack, FF, bacon bits, and cream gravy. Not very good for you either, but fun just the same.

Well, I would have to, but was out of sour cream LOL. I did have Rotel on it though.
I love fries with cream gravy!

I don’t want to be a killjoy but that is a whole lot of calories and it is known that the USA is the overweight capital of the world….who cares anyway get stuck in.

“I don’t want to be a killjoy ”
LOL, yes you do.
“known that the USA is the overweight capital of the world”
Um…darn. That’s factually incorrect. The USA, while high on the list is NOT the most obese country in the world
Don’t worry about me. I still wear the same size 32 pants I wore in high school.
But I do seriously appreciate your effort to save me from myself, not sure how I’d make it without you Steve.
LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!

Looks delicious! Wally, I’m glad to know that you are teaching morning and evening classes. A reliable source tells me that a certain large Baptist Church in Arkansas canceled their Sunday evening service this weekend. (This is the same church that canceled all their Sunday services on December 25 because it was Christmas.) J.

It was beyond delicious, J.
You have better sources about Arkansas than I do LOL.
What you have said does not surprise me a bit. I would certainly enjoy that ball game….but not at the expense of my day to serve my Lord and hand out with people I love.
Yeah, cancel service on the day that commemorates the incarnation of our very God…yeah…make sense right.
LOL, I better step off the soap box now.
I was not aware that a big church did that. Was in one in Little Rock by chance….? I know many smaller churches did that Christmas day, don’t know of any around here that cancelled service this evening, though

It’s just south of Little Rock on Interstate 30. I’m sure you’ve seen it on your way to the Flying Fish and back home again. J.
