Ha! I kid you not, Wally. God said that to me once, don’t tweet. Something about my mouth in 144 characters or less…..

Now you have made me laugh IB…yes I can see that being an issue..no offense of course, as you words are always great. Just usually more than 144 characters though.

I heard some other politician summed it up perfectly. The media hates Trump tweeting because it makes them feel useless.

It’s certainly interesting, they way he has made us of social media…unlike anything we have seen before for sure!

I’m pretty sure I’d like to hear from the man myself rather than clearly biased networks.
January 21, 2017 at 15:39
I some senses it is interesting and even refreshing. He does need to keep in mind the great power and impact the words of the President have, though.

True. People also need to remember this man needs to be given a chance to prove himself, just like we seek to be given a second chance when we make mistakes. Some people are less forgiving of others than themselves and we see this example with the protesters who break stuff. It’s sad.
Amen to that

I cracked up when I saw this post. There’s a guy at the office I will have to show this to. Just about the only thing he ever says about Trump is that he wish he would stop tweeting.
That said, I think Trump’s tweeting disturbs the news media more than anyone else. So I don’t think he will stop. What I hope he will do is learn to be more disciplined with it.
When I reflect upon Trump’s unlikely journey to the presidency, it occurs to me that he may be even more surprised than the rest of us. We can, after the fact, consider how it happened and say he planned it all, but I suspect there was a lot more dumb luck than Trump would like to admit.
January 22, 2017 at 16:45
I wonder if the day after his election he sat back and thought….what just happened ?

Batman is the media telling Trump, “stop tweeting and tell us first”
Maybe so LOL. Or could be his own handler telling him to chill out and engage brain prior to engaging mouth.

Batman looks like Cloone to me LOL

That’s what you call cutting out the middleman.

I’m fairly sure I like this graphic for other reasons than other people might, but I would definitely like to see Trump stay away from Twitter for a while. I heard he tweeted something about NATO not being needed a while back, and stuff like that concerns me. The Korean War got started off an errant press release by the Truman administration; I’d hate to see a foreign country blow a tweet out of proportion.
January 21, 2017 at 16:59
First…nice to see you SB
I suspect we actually agree on why he really needs to be very careful with this.
The words of our President carry a lot of weight and can have huge impact
The Donald is known to speak rashly lol
Great point there thanks

Yep indeed Wally
January 21, 2017 at 22:23
Its new and changing world isn’t it Tricia?
January 21, 2017 at 23:17
Yep Wally, sure is. 😀

Brother Wally, I’m not a big fan of politics and politicians as you know, but that had to be the worst inaugural address I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard ’em all since Kennedy. Yet it was completely on par with all of Trump’s previous blustering. In deference to your comic book graphic, Trump seems to be the Bizarro president from Bizarro World featured in the old Superman comics!
January 22, 2017 at 07:21
Well, Tom…you know I am with you. I’m not particularly consumed by politics either. I also find many things disturbing. Obviously Donald Trump is pretty smart, and he does say some things I like. On the other hand, he says some things….that just don’t always fit where they get said. His words matter; history is made by the words our President speaks.
January 22, 2017 at 09:58
Wally, yes, I also agree with some of Trump’s viewpoints but he’s demonstrated he lacks the wisdom, prudence, and decorum the office requires. I had hoped he would improve after the campaign but the rash and unwise blustering continues. All we can do is pray for him and continue to trust in the Lord.
January 22, 2017 at 13:01
That pretty well captured the moment Tom thanks
I feel a post forming lol

RE: “I feel a post forming.”
LOL, yup, I think there might be one baking in the oven.

Well, honestly, preacher irritated me this morning on this topic, and when that happens, the only way I know to get it out of system is to write about it. He reads my blog, so he will get my point.
Now just to find the time!
January 23, 2017 at 04:10
He needs to hand his twitter account to a PR team or something
January 23, 2017 at 05:22
Yep for sure
January 26, 2017 at 06:20
Well, at least we hear him unfiltered. The media is at a loss to figure out how to spin the quick jabs
January 26, 2017 at 06:43
Yeah, no kidding. Like nothing that has ever been seen!
