There are a whole bunch that are trying very hard to burn those fields down but with our prayers I think the harvest will be saved. I hope so anyway.

I hope and pray so also, Sue. It’s been on my mind lately that we treat the unsaved in the world as if they are our enemies, and they aren’t. Not saying we have to sit back and let them have their way…you know I am not for that. But, personally I can say for myself that sometimes I get worried about “winning” rather than winning souls.

I know what you mean, Wally, and I tend to be the same but having had said that I think by the Lord having us doing Christian blogs we are planting seeds. Like scripture says, “we plant, someone else sows, and He brings the harvest.” Or something like that. 🙂 Don’t be too hard on yourself. The Lord knows your heart and I think He’s probably pretty pleased.

You hit on a point. I walk around with a perpetual quizzed look on my face when I see Christian’s getting all upset because the unsaved are acting like the unsaved. Here’s your sign…

Well bingo! That was EXACTLY the point! And, for the record, as with most of these thoughts it arose out of my own learning.
Indeed, why would expect any different? As the saying goes…but for the grace of God…am I.

Our devotional at the gym this morning was about this very topic.

Now that’s pretty cool
It’s been in my mind a lot and I want to do less burning and more harvesting

Me too. There is actually an effort in my community to do just that. I associate with leaders from multiple churches and we are all focusing on collaborative efforts to evangelize to the lost.
Church congregations do too much amongst themselves but, I have always thought, don’t get out enough.

This is timely before my evangelism tomorrow night.

This is one of my favorite passages. I feel the urgency of it in my bones.

It makes me happy that you feel that, and I wish many more folks would get on board with the thought in that passage. Time is short, I feel, and so many remain lost and doomed.
