Just some great music here for a Monday evening. Blessings and enjoy!
In Spirit and In Truth The Word
I am moved and amazed. Andre Rieu and talented musicians playing “Amazing Grace” with violin, Bagpipes and I believe a piccolo. The people are entranced, awed and moved by this performance. People are hugging and tears are shed. For some it just emotion because of the beauty of the music. For others it is a recognition of their spiritual need and the gift of a life to meet that need. I think I will listen to this again.

Wally, if you’re born again by the blood of the Lamb you can’t help but shed tears of gratitude every time you hear that song.

Amen to that,Tom. It also strikes me looking at those folks that it touches many who don’t believe as well

Good point, Wally. There are obviously many people who sing that song with teary eyes but who are at the same time trying to merit their way into Heaven. So how could a person correlate the lyrics of “Amazing Grace” with the concept of merited salvation? It’s absolutely impossible! Chalk it up to spiritual blindness. But the Holy Spirit can use that “disconnect” between the words of that song and religious false belief to work in people’s hearts.
