One of the Christian stations has an ad that if you donate a certain amt. of $ they’ll send you a cross with “a rock from the site of Jesus birth” in it. Sounds like “straw” to me.

I wonder if you get a free prayer shawl with that?

Wally, you may want to check with the Catholic basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome which claims to have some of the actual straw from Jesus’s manger crib in Bethlehem. Yes, I’m serious. See the 2nd paragraph in the article below:

Nope, never been to Israel, Wally.

Hey, that’s great, Wally! Good for you guys! I know you’ll both appreciate it very much. I hope my wife and I can go some day, also. I’m curious what cities/towns are on your itinerary?
December 16, 2016 at 19:32
I can’t remember the full itinerary lol Tom my wife has it somewhere
It’s ten days so pretty much the full treatment
The guy who is leading it has been 37 times and this is his last one
We are very excited

I know you’ll appreciate it, Wally. Well, that’s an understatement. It’s obviously great to read about Israel in the Bible but to visit there and actually see the sites you’ve been reading about, what a great blessing that will be for you!
December 16, 2016 at 19:54
Oh, for sure Tom. Imagine walking in the same places Jesus walked…wow
December 16, 2016 at 20:57
You are so right Mr. Tom. I’ve been there and it is a blessing like no other. I read the Bible and the places seem to come alive because I was right there where the Word is talking about. I’m excited for you, Wally. Part of my trip is in my book.

reminds me of some people who sugarcoats and advertises gospel for dishonest gains
How true my friend, how true. Thanks for your kind visits and encouragement
