Life has been hard as of late. However, various trials bring about good things eventually. Thank you Wally.

Amen to that Tom, amen to that. He will suffer much rebellion by us and still be waiting patiently. Wow eh?

Not too sanctified looking…

Rather sickish lol.

I selected the word “sanctified” for a reason.
Here’s the reason; John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
The word of God is the only means God has left us that we might be sanctified. If we choose not to read it, what do we do to ourselves?
December 13, 2016 at 20:29
Um…we make ourselves spiritually sick
December 13, 2016 at 20:37
Actually that is also true. What I had in mind though, has to do with the process of sanctification. When we read the Word of God it enters our mind, His thoughts and ways, while we dont always remember it verbatum, God can recall His word to our mind at the appropriate time. His Word can discern our thoughts and motives as well as prick our consciences. Reading the Word of God is not an ascetic practice, it is what feeds us spiritually and provides for our sanctification through its’ workings in our heart. It is by and large the means God communicates with us.

Yes lol we get spiritually sick without it!
December 13, 2016 at 21:18
Heh heh, once again, close. No we are already spiritually sick. Without it, we don’t get any better. ☺

LOL. I make sure to read at least one chapter a day. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, and I realize perfectly well that I forgot to read the Bible. So I drag myself out of bed, pick up my phone and open up my Bible App while I’m still sitting on my bed.
Isn’t that funny how we can’t slack and get away with it? God takes care of business for sure. Thanks my friend.
