Short and sweet, but so very true!! We could sum up so many things with that quote.

As much as I would like to take the credit, I stole that from someone else.
December 6, 2016 at 13:37
Yeah..I know…but nothing wrong with sharing LOL.

And it is brilliant! Who said it?
December 6, 2016 at 18:47
And the quest is on..who said that? lol

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight.
Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;
she will honor you if you embrace her.
She will place on your head a graceful garland;
she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”

Whoever you are….very nice

Very true and helping.
Most mistake wisdom and knowledge.

well…technically you know…a tomato is a member of the fruit family…. 🙂
but I’d rather have it on my BLT rather than in my Waldorf salad any ol day 🙂

My favorite sandwich 🙂
December 6, 2016 at 15:27
You know…a sandwich is just one of my favourite things in general lol. Hard to say a fave
December 6, 2016 at 15:34
you and my son…he’d eat some sort of sandwich any day, all day…this coming from his mother who has always cooked–real meals and not things “sandwiched” between pieces of bread…albeit for the trusty lunch box during his school days…
He is a sandwich fiend and I don’t know where he gets that from…
Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good BLT, lightly toasted white bread, mayo… especially during the middle of summer when the juice of those freshly picked tomatoes melds perfectly with that little bit of bacon fat….ummmmm….heaven on a plate—but as for his love of subs, Pb&j’s, turkey and mayo, an Italian job from his favorite sub shop…. yada yada, etc….I have no clue…
Give me a meat and three any day 🙂 … fried chicken please
December 6, 2016 at 15:42
Don’t get me wrong…I love a real meal!
My poor wife…sometimes she will just fix sandwiches when there is not time to cook. She apologizes the whole time. She can’t be convinced that a good sandwich is a legitimate meal!
Now let me get absurd. Not a Subway fan. Go figure.
Hmmm…tonight may be a bacon, egg, cheese and onion night in fact.

Now I’ve been known to slap things together all the time during our less than normal life these days– like last night when we finally got home at 9:30– Bar Harbor makes the best canned clam chowder this side of Maine– open two cans, add half-n-half , a little salt and pepper, heat and suddenly I hear the ocean 🙂

Hey Wally…Is that Pastor Jim’s way of saying we southerners are two floors shy of a full elevator ride?
December 8, 2016 at 11:12
Ba ha ha ha ha! I think so. Those darn California folks LOL
December 8, 2016 at 12:06
LOL! What does that mean?

December 8, 2016 at 12:52
It means not being very smart.
December 8, 2016 at 14:29
Well…except that’s not really true.
