I didn’t make it to church this morning, but I feel a bit better that I did go to my church’s Thanksgiving service Wednesday night (which I almost never go to).
Well…ya know? I bet that’s ok. Sometime things just get in the way that are quite legitimate. Like today? I won’t make prayer meeting or Sunday School. On call for work. Should make preaching, but never know. So, I can understand where you are coming from totally!
Ohhh you’re going to upset some people with this. 🙂 Hmmmm it seems you’ve been doing a really good job of that lately. Yay for you. Blessings, Wally. I made it to church this morning.
It was and I just hurt a little from the drive but okay now. They even had the Angel Tree up so now I have a small mission to accomplish. I get to go shopping. ha ha
I do not drive and my husband sleeps in so we go to a full 6:00pm service, a Bible teaching church must have been thinking of us when they implemented Sunday evening service. I am glad because otherwise I would not have a chance. Blessings!
Well, If I must—-
we have to change the name of Christmas break to winter break…we aren’t allowed to have any reminders of “Christmas” in our schools, yet our bastions of all things marketing implore it, laud it, and put it out at the end September in order to hawk sales…the sales of a bunch of crap that we don’t need nor actually really want….all in the name of the economy…
We want our cake and want to eat it, or actually buy it…but we won’t allow Jesus to be any where near it…shame on us

My choice isn’t so little. 15 yr. old and I have no idea what they like. I’ll have to tackle some mom and ask.

Sometimes when I see the amount of cars outside of malls on Sunday, I think shopping is America’s national religion.
