It is amazing how much credit and influence we give to satan. Almost as an excuse for poor choices and the choices of others with which we disagree.
The ultimate blames hitting onto a demonic scapegoat. Great way to avoid responsibility, as always
Thanks for the visit Mike

It always amazed me among my more pentecostal friends how much they claimed was the work of the devil or evil influences of demonic spirits that really led back to their own or the works of others.
Remember flip wilson?

Thanks for visiting Mike

How have you been?
October 30, 2016 at 13:00
I’ve been better. Going through alot. I’ve been absent. But by the grace of GOD things are looking up. He’s sustained me. I can feel Him and I know He’s there even when the storm is at its highest level…I know He’s working. Amen.
How have u been?

Been bad busy new job
This is my first day off in over 5 weeks
October 30, 2016 at 13:16
Oh wow Wally…yikes.
I guess we should be glad we have jobs though. Busy is better than not. Just taking the a look thru the upside of things. 😊
October 30, 2016 at 14:37
Fact there Andi
So many don’t have jobs
October 30, 2016 at 14:38
Yes very true. I don’t mean to demean your mention of being busy and having a much needed day off. You deserve a day of rest and relaxation too friend. 💯
October 30, 2016 at 14:45
Oh Andi you did nothing lol
I’m sorry if you thought you did

The Jezabel spirit is very much alive and busy across this country. It’s heartbreaking to watch.
October 30, 2016 at 16:26
It is indeed, Sue . What a great description of it you made, Jezebel spirit.
October 30, 2016 at 13:46
I hate to admit this, but I partially agree with Mike. Sometimes we do have a way of blaming the devil for poor choices. However, that does not negate the fact that what you wrote is spot on. We are now calling those things that are bad, good and those things that are good, bad.
October 30, 2016 at 16:30
Well I don’t disagree with that either, as I am fully behind the idea that often we just make stupid decisions and have to live with the consequences.
As you also pointed out, that wasn’t really the point of the post, and right or not, was basically no more than an attempt to pick a brawl. So, again, I pass on that.

Society’s values will never be aligned with God’s. We must always work to re-align the church’s values with the Lord’s.
Amen Theta, Amen. Thanks for coming by and commenting!

How very true Wally. We live in a bizzaro world for sure.
October 30, 2016 at 16:31
Bizarro….that’s a good way of putting it Nathan.
October 30, 2016 at 17:48
Not to take anything from television, but the Seinfeld episode entitled as such saw Jerry’s life as he knew it turned opposite.
October 30, 2016 at 17:54
I watched him some but not enough too know episode names lol
October 30, 2016 at 14:30
A LOT of mocking these days.
Yeah…just hang around blog world and one will see it huh?
October 30, 2016 at 17:10
I see it everywhere. Politics aside, which IS a mock-fest, I just never thought I would ever see the level of fearlessness of God and disrespect that I now do. It’s only supposed to worsen
October 30, 2016 at 14:56
Absolutely Wally. This reminds of the Paul Harvey but, “If I were the Devil.”
October 30, 2016 at 16:41
I’ll have to find that one, cant say I am familiar with it.
How are you?
October 30, 2016 at 21:20
You need to check it out. It was a very eye opening commentary.
October 30, 2016 at 21:23
I shall! And I used to like Paul Harvey too. But back then the mention of God would have made me stop listening for sure
October 31, 2016 at 05:58
I am busy but doing great.
Yes, you have to find it. It was recorded 50 years ago and it’s almost prophetic.
October 31, 2016 at 06:07
I will for sure. I loved Paul Harvey!
October 31, 2016 at 07:34
So did I, I remember listening when I was a kid.
October 30, 2016 at 16:52
My two cents Wally, is that the world is dynamic. You cannot blame anyone or anything for change, whether it be good or bad. You would not believe this world is the same one from 6 or 7 decades ago and the bet is it will be different again in the next 6 or 7 decades.
October 30, 2016 at 16:56
I don’t disagree completely. But in light of my faith, my statement is 100 percent correct, true, and absolutely beyond dispute.
Thanks for coming by.

There was a lot of truth behind Flip Wilson’s alter ego of Geraldine “the devil made me do it”…
whereas much of man’s demise does lead originally back to our “poor choices” as previous commentators have mentioned… those poor choices however have their inception and roots in the fact that this earth is a battlefield and unfortunately we tend to choose the wrong side of battle…
October 30, 2016 at 20:10
Hey Julie…ugh sent you to spam on my phone somehow. Sheesh.
I think you have made good points here also. And I do remember Flip Wilson and Geraldine LOL. Very funny.
The whole thing was originated and is still fueled by the devil. Of course, there are those who came only to deny that the devil, God, or any such thing exist. Which is why I didn’t discuss Flip Wilson with my earlier visitor. My time wasted arguing theology with someone who rejects all theology in the first place, denying that there is even a “theo” is over. I won’t do it any more.
Yep, we make many choices, many of the stupid and all of our own choice. I satan still out there trying to snare us? I believe that is a fact. Is he behind every temptation? I don’t believe that actually. James teaches us we are drawn away by our own lust…if you recall.
Sure is nice to talk with my friends by the way.
October 30, 2016 at 20:18
Oh I totally concur Wally—yea my aside there was actually a response to a previous comment (wink wink)
Poor decisions, poor choices.. be it egotistical, selfishness…all goes back the man’s sinful nature…which all goes back to a fallen world, which all goes back to the powers of Light and Darkness—with poor choices all pointing back to the darkness…
October 30, 2016 at 20:20
Yeah, I knew where your comment went LOL. No harm no foul my friend.
October 31, 2016 at 12:25
Desensitization…we continually let our guard down…
October 31, 2016 at 13:27
It’s like the story I hear of boiling a frog starting in room temperature water. Because he is cold blooded, he never notices he is being boiled until it is too late.
November 2, 2016 at 18:47
Amen! I like to say, “Get behind me satan!” I say it a lot….
November 2, 2016 at 19:13
It’s good that you say it, Debbie, in some ways. At least you realize when temptation is coming after you.
November 3, 2016 at 09:09
Yes, I got to know satan pretty well when he convinced me to divorce my Christian husband….we were married as evangelicals in a ministry….YIKES! Thank you JESUS, he restored our marriage and our walk with HIM!
November 3, 2016 at 09:26
What an inspiring story you two are!
November 3, 2016 at 10:08
All Glory to God!!!
