Sad but true Brother! Because we chose to do the thing that wasn’t always easy, both our boys have been involved in law enforcement – serving their communities and even though no longer in law enforcement, both do jobs serving others and our two grandsons are both in the military, one in the Navy and the other just shipped out to serve as an Army MP! Raise a child in the way he should go and when he is older he won’t stray from it! Doesn’t mean they might not “sow some wild oats” but the promise is, they will always come back to what they were taught!

That is great brother. Sadly, my two children remain quite lost, as at the time I was raising them I was myself. Maybe someday that will change. Pray for that, will you?

Will do Brother! I have family members, parents and half-siblings that don’t know the Lord and I pray for them as well! In Christ Jesus the one great gift we always have is HOPE!! Don’t forget that and don’t let the enemy rob you of it! Love you brother.

Much love to you as well

I will pray, too. And, I am praying for the other thing I just witnessed over there on the ‘level playing field’. Looked like Ephesians 6:12 going on and hope that has faded or will soon. I am trying to catch up on some posts and I had to stop and pray over that one.

I appreciate that much. Yeah, it’s a rough crown now and then

This might be because our families know our worst failures. I just use my past failures to point out how much the Lord has changed me for the better.

That is a very true saying my friend.

Oh oh oh how true. The mission field of the home can be one of the most unforgiving. I too have some prodigals out there. One of which, only God knows where she is and how she is. She has walled herself off from the world. Empty me out Lord, until only you remains.

Ah..sorry to hear that Marijo.

I rest all I have on the fact that He who began that good work will be faithful to complete it. I have not a doubt in my mind. My risen savior will not sleep til he sees that little girl safely back in the flock.
