Well Happy Birthday my friend and if you’d been here in Georgia, you could have come on over for the birthday celebration we were having here as my husband’s birthday was also August 5th!
I cooked out Friday night….
Gregory is 10 years older than I am so he turned 67—and doesn’t look or act a day over 50—except for that gray business on his head 🙂

Hey, that gray stuff almost guarantees a senior discount without getting carded. As I creep up on 70 later this year, I now understand why Jack Benny always claimed to be 39. I still think I’m only 35.

LOL! Now see, we really are brother and sister, Wally! Mine is tomorrow.
I’ll turn 52, but it’s all good, actually I am aging backwards. That’s kind of a funny thing to say, but what I mean is that Jesus Christ has healed so much of the stress and anxiety of my younger days, and taken the spiritual weight of all those burdens off of me. He’s kind of awesome that way. So, just one more benefit of having a relationship with Him.

Wally, this is amazing. I can’t believe I am older than you. This is totally unexpected. No, wait, I didn’t mean to imply that you were OLD. It’s just that I find your postings, writings and advice to be so, well, wise. (See, I didn’t say “elderly.) I will be 58 next May. Happy birthday my brother. My friend. Strange, but it feels like we’ve met. You have been there for me (through those private emails when I struggled with my prior church). You’ve been inspirational to us all.
