Amen,Wally! I think the older we get the easier it is to see, “Wow, why am I even alive?”

50 cent? You do get around don’t you wally
August 7, 2016 at 17:14
the 50 cent with the million dollar smile.
I like that Wally gets around. It’s great to be inclusive. God loves all people, whether or not they know or choose to love Him back. 🙂

Not sure that 50cent is a Christian or would ever credit god for his success though. He seems to work hard for everything he gets, and he has a Personal Power type of success thing going on.

And a million dollar smile that works for this post
August 7, 2016 at 18:04
Good for you Wally. Whatever works for what you want to say… regardless if it would actually be said by him or not. Way to use that situational ethics
Good bye for now but thanks for the visit

I’m not sure if he’s a Christian either, but Christian or not, God loves him just the same. Christ Jesus died to redeem him.
One of the beautiful things about God is that He does not withhold His blessings from us because we refuse to acknowledge and give Him thanks for it.
He is not the beneficiary of our gratitude, we are. A gracious heart or a life of gratitude changes us, not God.
One of things I say and it’s true is that spiritual laws work regardless of who uses them, and I believe 50-cent, like Oprah uses ‘backdoor’ types of meditation etc.
August 7, 2016 at 18:13
Okay, just checked… and the internets say Mr. 50 is a Christian, and for all you conservatives, he’s also a republican.
This was included in the write up.
I believe in a higher power. I believe in right and wrong. I believe in God. I believe everything about the [Christian] church is cool, but everybody’s not there in the right spirit.
“He has also credited God to the fact that he has survived being shot 9 times.”
August 7, 2016 at 18:15
Higher power and god isn’t necessarily Christian. Tony Robbins says the same things and 50cent matches the success mentality of tr to a big T.
August 7, 2016 at 18:19
I agree with everything you say here.
As I mentioned above, they subscribe to ‘backdoor’ means of accessing the spiritual. Tony Robbins included.
What did Jesus say about those who choose not to enter through the door but some other way – that one is a thief and a robber.

Or as my pastor says, “God grace is more powerful than my stupid”.
August 7, 2016 at 17:44
Ha…good word there….thanks for that
August 7, 2016 at 21:11
I’m gonna have to remember that one…”God’s grace is more powerful than my stupid.” 🙂
August 7, 2016 at 21:13
Wasn’t that awesome?
August 7, 2016 at 18:27
Once again there are those who miss the point! It’s not who but what. The what being what happens when the mysteries are revealed and a smile grows on our faces. And yes, 50cent can be saved too! Love this thought Wally!
August 7, 2016 at 18:28
Thanks Andy lol. Some folks are just downers
August 7, 2016 at 18:44
Yup! Keep preaching brother!
August 7, 2016 at 19:16
I plan on it because the naysayers only strengthen my faith
August 7, 2016 at 18:51
You frequently express appreciation for my posts, yet I rarely get around to reading anybody’s. However, dawnlizjones pointed me to this one, and I’m glad. Excellent, pithy point!
August 7, 2016 at 19:15
I enjoy your devotionals very much brother thank you for them
August 7, 2016 at 22:28
Yep indeed…what a “big picture” God we serve! Amen!
August 8, 2016 at 04:17
That’s exactly the point, he has seen the end before it occurs. Thanks Marijo!

In science, I believe that this is known as drawing the curve and then plotting the points.
August 8, 2016 at 04:22
Well God, calls it foreknowledge and omniscience.
August 8, 2016 at 06:24
I wasn’t referring to what God is doing, I was referring to what humans do when they attempt to interpret events. Presumably, humans do not have foreknowledge or omniscience.
August 8, 2016 at 06:27
Yeah the post is talking about God though….clearly
August 8, 2016 at 06:45
You mean that fellow in the photo with the big smile who “be like”…that guy is God?
August 8, 2016 at 06:48
And…now the mockery begins.
August 8, 2016 at 06:56
Not mockery, just making the point that the post appears to be about how humans interpret events. That’s what the smiling fellow is doing here. That’s what the post is about.
