OK…listen to me. I shall speak clearly so there won’t be any misunderstanding. Fair? Good.

Except in a few clearly proscribed cases, my stance on political issues is not part of the requirements God has laid out in order for me to be a good Christian.

I Don’t have to support the NRA to be a Christian, nor do I have to scream “ban all the guns!” either

I don’t have to support tossing out all the illegal aliens to be a Christian, nor to I have to be in favor of full amnesty and open borders.

I don’t have to be in favor of going overseas and kicking everybody into shape to be a Christian, nor to I have to be against all forms of war.

I don’t have to support carpet bombing ISIS to be a Christian, nor to I have to favor opening the borders and letting possibly dangerous people in.

I don’t have to favor eradicating all forms of public assistance to those who need it to be a Christian, nor do I have to say it’s okay to take people’s hard earned money and give it to people who could earn it the same way.

I don’t have to believe ANY of those things to be a good Christian.

God told me what I have to do to be a Christian, and it’s NONE of the above. Here is what HE said.

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

For β€œeveryone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Any questions?
