Hey Maria. No it’s no joke. It’s another site I write on some. Its a group effort where we are trying to make a place that is open and friendly to people to share Jesus. It’s sort of a no strife zone

Worship in general is my understanding. It’s kind of hard to explain what our concept is, as we don’t really have on. We are a highly varied group of believers. In fact, we don’t necessarily agree with each other on all doctrinal points. We do, however, all agree on salvation as the wonderful gift of the Grace of God through Jesus Christ. It’s something I prayed about, as joint efforts are…difficult…for me. But, The Spirit didn’t tell me no..so there I am.
But, tomorrow is just everyone posting about what they think worship means to them. It should be interesting.
One thing I do know is we are striving very hard to make sort of a safe zone, where people of different thoughts can express their thoughts without fear of venom and strife. If someone changes their thoughts as a result, great. If not…still great.
Other than that, I have no clue what people have written. One thing we have agreed on is that we can all write from our own doctrinal perspective freely. It’s a somewhat interesting situation. We have actually been visited by a non believer who normally is like most of us, and rather contentious and the entire conversation was conducted with great respect and consideration. Perhaps someone can be reached.
Does that help? LOL probably not, as we are pretty much “winging it.”

I’m confused. It looks like you are promoting a day for secretly worshipping Santa. But I know you would not do that, so… confused.
By the way, last Sunday morning when the pastor called all the children up front for a story before sending them off to children’s service, he said: “Today is the second Sunday in advent. The word advent means ‘coming.’ Do you know who is coming?”
The children all shouted “SANTA!”

No LOL. Funny story by the way! I can just see that. Ok, my friend Paul who organized this, funny fellow, and likes to be…fun and silly. Great counterpoint to me actually. Secret Santa? That gift giving game you play where you don’t really know what you will end up with. Tomorrow(today) 10 different writers are going to write about Worship as they see it. We are 10 very different people, so just like the game, who knows what we will get.
