I would disagree with Adrian. in order to know where you are going, it’s important to know where you come from and where you’ve been. for Christians, genesis will always be a necessary starting point for both questions.

Must be careful about our origins. Often by attacking the origins the devil makes people choose to not bother about the destination. However one mustn’t be so focused on debates about our origins to those not willing to hear out with an open mind that we lose track of the destination ourselves. 🙂
